meningkatkan resolusi monitor di ubuntu 9.04

Terkadang setelah menginstall ubuntu ke dalam komputer atau laptop biasanya tidak semua komputer/laptop langsung dapat mengenal komponen hardwarenya, nah biasanya yang paling sering di temukan setelah penginstalan yang sering muncul adalah masalah resolusi layar, biasanya resolusi layar secara default 800 x 600 nah kalau anda ingin meningkatkan kualitas resolusi monitor.

langkah awal edit file xorg.conf, caranya buka terminal : application > accessoris > terminal

ketikan perintah berikut : sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf :

lalu ketik /copy code dibawah ini :

Jika resolusi masih tidak bisa si naikan coba anda edit file monitor.xml pada direktori anda misal /home/ical/ lalu tekan kombinasi pada keayboard ctrl + H maka folder-folder yang tersembunyi akan terlihat, cari folder .config buka setelah itu edit file monitor.xml di teks edito, berikut isi file monitor.xml :

Oke, selesai di edit log out atau lebih baik reboot komputer ! dengan mengetikan perintah berikut ” sudo reboot ” oke cukup sekian terima kasih atas perhatiannya ….
